For 20 years, ERI instructors have been helping engineers measure, analyze and understand their over-the-road, over-and-under the sea, liftoff and in-flight environments in terms of potential damage to on-board electronic and other equipment. Since the military and naval services do not themselves develop more rugged products, they use existing commercial hardware, ERI has focused on protecting existing products against in-service and in-the-test-lab forces.

HASS-HALT-ESS

For 20 years, ERI instructors have been helping engineers measure, analyze and understand the environments in which electronic and other hardware must survive and function properly. Will it survive a stressful lifetime? Finding out is the task of HALT – Highly Accelerated Life Testing. HALT which should be performed before an equipment goes into production. HASS stands for Highly Accelerated Stress Screening, post production.
